Rangers sweep Seattle.   Recently updated !

It’s better to be the sweeper than the sweepee.

After being swept in their first three home games of the season, the Rangers sweep the Mariners in their second home series of 2026. That’s how you get up off the mat.

The Rangers offense is still sluggish, scoring only three runs today, on just six hits. For the series, Texas managed just eight runs in three games, and just nineteen hits. Luckily, they caught a team that’s in an even worse offensive funk that they are. In fact, the Mariners have the lowest batting average in baseball, scoring the second fewest runs. The fewest? The Reds. Just try to figure out baseball.

Langford, Pederson, Jung, and Smith still have 1s in front of their batting averages, with one home run combined.

Texas heads to Los Angeles to play the Dodgers, the team with the best batting average in baseball, and the most home runs hit. At least they’re going on the road, where they hit much better. Last year, in fact, the Rangers were dead last in hitting at home in baseball. On the road, they were 16.

It would appear the only way Rangers fans are going to see any offense from this team is watching them on TV playing somewhere else. TV viewing this weekend, though, might not be advisable as the Rangers face the powerhouse Dodgers. They might not get an wins, but at least they shoud get more hits.
