There will be four games today. The Padres extended their season by beating the Brewers in Game 3.

Milwaukee leads the series two games to one, with a chance to clinch tonight. But last night’s game was another taut, pitch-by-pitch nail biter.

The Padres went ahead by two, the Brewers tied it, the Padres went by two again, the Brewers got within one but couldn’t tie it a second time.

In the end, San Diego survives to play another day with a tight 4-3 win.

The other game saw the Dodgers taking a two to one series lead on the Braves with a dominating performance by budding postseason legend Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who struck out ten Braves in seven innings, giving up just one run. The Dodgers could clinch it tonight.
