A rock opera.

One of these nights Corey Seager will break out of his slump, until then it’s all just wasted time.

Highlights from the Eagles concert at The Shed:

One Of These Nights: A wistful song about dreaming, wishing that maybe one night in the future, the Rangers had the ability to win a game.

Heartache Tonight: Jacob deGrom gives up four solo homeruns why they Ranger desperately try to find enough offense for four singles.

Desperado: A song about a sad sack Rangers fan who, night after night, tunes into see their Rangers team play, and night after night has his heart broken.

New Kid In Town: A song about Brandon Nimmo, who is one of the few bright spots in a Rangers lineup filled with the same old residents stuck in the neighborhood of the Mendoza Line.

Already Gone: A song about the Rangers playoff chances in mid-May, after watching it flail way night after night after night.

Take It To The Limit: A reminder that one run is about the limit of the Ranger offensive output. Two, max.

I Can’t Tell You Why: The lyrics say it all. Who knows why Rangers ownership, as their team is escalating exponentially in value, decided to cut payroll on a team that already was in need of serious remodeling up and down the roster?

Wasted Time: A follow up to “I Can’t Tell You Why,” it’s a song about 2024. And 2025. And 2026.
