The Rangers season in a nutshell was described by a graphic they showed in the bottom of the seventh of last night’s game with the Brewers leading 3-1 and bases loaded and no outs.

BATTING AVERAGE WITH BASES LOADED

TEXAS RANGERS: .212, 28TH

MILWAUKEE BREWERS: .350, 1ST

Then the Brewers singled and hit a sac fly for two more runs. Those were the two runs they ended up winning by in they 5-3 victory over Texas.

The Brewers are playing such a different level of baseball than the Rangers. Milwaukee is fun to watch. Texas is drudgery.

In two batters the Brewers put the game out of reach and buried the Rangers even further.

The Brewers do everything right. The Rangers do very little right.

The stats in that box said everything.
