Facing elimination, on the road, down two games to one to the White Sox, the Guardians were down 2-0 after three innings.

Then they scored three in the top of the fifth to take the lead. It was brief.

The White Sox immediately scored two to make it 4-3. It seemed like the dagger. Like the White Sox saying, sorry, you’re not talking this away from us.

Then, just like that, Cleveland exploded for six runs in the top of the sixth to take a 9-4 lead, and they forced a do-or-die game five in Cleveland tomorrow. The White Sox valiantly scored one more run, but the Guardians resilience was just too powerful.
