The Rangers third baseman won a Gold Glove award last night.

So did the Rangers shortstop.

And the Rangers left fielder.

And the Rangers second baseman

And the Rangers center fielder.

And the Rangers right fielder.

And the Rangers first baseman.

No, seven Rangers didn’t win Gold Gloves. Just one. Ezequiel Duran. But he won the Gold Glove for utility players. Druan played seven positions with the Rangers in 2026—everything but pitcher and catcherand he played them well. It was Duran’s first Gold Glove, it was the Rangers first Gold Glove win in the Utility category.

There is a silver lining to this a miserable, frustrating, forgettable season and it’s gold.
