The only good you can take out of last night’s heartbreaking 8-7 loss to the Dodgers is that the Rangers are finally on the road where they can hit. But that also means the other team can hit as well. And this three-game series is against the best hitting team in baseball.
Another good thing to take from last night’s game is the fact that the Rangers were completive with the Dodgers. The 2026 season is all about who will play the Dodgers in the World Series. For one night, at least we know the Rangers could be competitive against them in October.
So, you take the gut punch, and when you can finally breathe, you take the positives. Rangers road games are enjoyable baseball watching, unlike at home where a soccer game breaks out every night.
And nobody is going to beat the Dodgers, so just take the beating and move on.
