Game 3 is a must-win for the Rays. No pressure. Just win. Just beat the team that has won seven consecutive post-season games in 2026. Just beat the team that has won nine out of the ten post-season games they’ve played, coming from behind to win seven of them.

That’s all. Just beat them. Don’t go down 3-0. No team has ever come back from being down 3-0 to win a World Series. It’s happened in hockey four times. Not baseball. In fact, no team has won more than one game after being down 3-0 in a World Series. Of course, it did happen to the Yankees in 2004 in the Championship Series when they were up three games to none against the Red Sox, then blew it. So, it’s possible. And satisfying.
